When home heating oil prices go up, pellet stoves become a very popular device for cutting heating costs. Pellet stoves are easy to operate, produce a steady flow of heat, and usually only need to be filled once per day.

There have been many advancements in design and operation of today's pellet stove. Safety is of utmost concern with the manufacturers of the newest pellet stoves. Pellet stoves are commonly installed in living rooms or even a kitchen. Pellet fired water heaters and central heating systems are also very popular. The only downside to pellet burning systems is that you have to deliver the fuel to the heater vs. burning gas which is automatically delivered through piping systems.
